| ABSTRACT:
Dacryocystography - an x-ray study of the lacrimal drainage passages that involves injecting a radiographic contrast material through a catheter - canimprove the diagnosis and treatment of patients experiencing problems withepiphora (an overflow of tears down the cheek). This test shows subtleties in the morphology of the lacrimal drainage system and identifies areas of obstruction. As a result, improved treatment and increased patient satisfaction are more likely. |
