| ABSTRACT:
Although our modern pharmaceutical armamentarium will quickly and effectively resolve most infectious or inflammatory ocular surface diseases, a few red eyes will still challenge the skills of even the most battle-tested eye care professional. For patients with a chief complaint of chronic or recurrent red eye, both ocular and systemic health must be evaluated in order to achieve a proper diagnosis and rule out what could be a vision- or life- threatening condition. Here, I'll present three case reports to illustrate how you can differentiate and manage three causes of ocular anterior segment inflammatory disease. |
