TITLE: Are They Fit For A Flap? (Determining LASIK Candidacy)

ABSTRACT: Technology has modified determination of patient candidacy. Custom LASIK and Conventional LASIK patients requirements differ. Discussion will include new pharmacological considerations, perioperative care guidelines, additional diagnostic testing requirements and revised medical guidelines for candidacy. It will be emphasized that these guidelines have been determined for this particular practitioner, and individual considerations will have their place as well.
