| ABSTRACT:
A 47-year-old female presents with a history of having been struck in the left eye with a tree branch and was seen the day following the incident in an emergency room. There was only mild discomfort and photophobia to the left eye. She was diagnosed with a corneal ulcer and given ofloxacin (Ocuflox) to use q.i.d. while awake and a narcotic analgesic for pain. She was told to see an eye doctor the next day. |
