| ABSTRACT:
Dry eye syndrome is the most common eye condition in the United States, occurring in about one in seven Americans. Diagnosing dry eye, though, is problematic as the clinical signs of dry eye do not necessarily correlate with patients' symptoms. To that end, clinicians must be aware of all types of clinical tests and how to use them. This course reviews the most common diagnostic tests used to assess and grade dry eye, and discusses their relevance. |
