TITLE:  Anatomy for Success: Soft Lens Fitting and Follow-Up

ABSTRACT: There are three major components associated with successful contact lens fitting. The three components are: thorough evaluation, proper identification and follow up. The evaluation portion includes the subjective interview as well as objective findings. Identification skills are dependent upon one having the ability to distinguish between original findings and the current. Follow up requires dedication and commitment to a plan for patient care. Each component is essential and each is dependent upon another. Professional growth through the contact lens practice can be achieved when each component is mastered and implemented.
