| ABSTRACT:
In the past, cataract and refractive lensectomy patients were faced with limited options. Today, we have the ability to provide aspheric intraocular lenses that enhance nighttime vision and contrast sensitivity or presbyopia-correcting IOLs that can restore near vision and reduce spectacle dependence with minimal unwanted side effects.
The more learned we are about these new lenses, the better we become at making lens recommendations and providing appropriate postoperative care. |
