TITLE: Dry Eye Punctal Occlusion Billing

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this course is to educate eye-care providers on how to maximize reimbursements, involving punctal occlusion procedures, in the treatment of dry eye syndrome. This course provides the most effective coding and billing recommendations and includes pertinent modifiers to be used when submitting claims to the insurance companies. Also included are recommendations on structuring the follow up visits in ascertaining the information necessary to consider this type of treatment as resolution of the condition.
