| TITLE:
Contemporary Orthokeratology |
| ABSTRACT:
Orthokeratology is a procedure utilizing gas permeable (GP) contact lenses for myopic refractive error correction. This process involves the reshaping of the curvature of the cornea; it is also termed "corneal reshaping" and "corneal refractive therapy." The treatment consists of fitting special design four-zone (or similar) GP lenses, often with a flat base curve, to gradually remold the cornea. |
