TITLE:  Contemporary Use & Prescribing of Toric Contact Lenses

ABSTRACT: Not so long ago, the use of toric soft contact lenses was more of a specialty than the more commonplace prescribing by today's eye care professional (ECP). Over the past twenty years however, dramatic changes have taken place that have not only resulted in increased availability of these "specialty" lenses, but expanded parameters and lens types have given the ECP's tremendous opportunities to provide the best vision correction for their astigmatic patients who wear soft contact lenses. This module will discuss the opportunities with modern soft toric contact lenses and how to manage through the simple and more complex cases.
