TITLE:  Correct Contact Lens Complications

ABSTRACT: Perhaps the most effective way to address common corneal complications from contact lens wear is to prevent them from occurring. Here, we will review the most common contact lens complications that occur and discuss how to treat them. While many complications may occur with contact lens wear, most are minor and reverse quickly without causing permanent injury when contact lens wear is modified or discontinued. Also, improved contact lens materials and designs have reduced complications dramatically.
