TITLE: Glaucoma & IOP

ABSTRACT: A synopsis on the basics of glaucoma will be delivered. A significant amount of time is spent on the background of landmark glaucoma research. This is intended to explain why intraocular pressure is still so important today. The presentation will include descriptions of the various techniques for measuring intraocular pressure to include NCT, Goldmann Applanation, Perkins, Tonopen, and Proview. Pros and cons for each device will be discussed.
