| ABSTRACT:
A number of soft lens complications often escape detection in the early stages because the patient may be asymptomatic orvague in describing their symptoms. Unfortunately, these relatively small complications can develop into significant problems if not detected and resolved. Today more patients than ewer are able to successfully wear contact lenses. This module will examine a wide range of pathologic conditions in which more frequent lens replacement or daily disposable lenses may be indicated. The ultimate objective is to instruct all patients to replace their lenses before they experience any decrease in comfort or visual performance. |
