| ABSTRACT:
This course discusses the case of a middle-aged woman presenting with signs and symptoms of optic nerve disease, later diagnosed as acute idiopathic blind spot enlargement syndrome (AIBSE). The course reviews the various types of AIBSE. It also discusses in detail elements of diagnosis of this syndrome, along with accompanying events such as papillary congestion. Treatment and follow-up of the case are discussed. |
