| ABSTRACT:
This course discusses the case of a man experiencing ghost images and blurred vision, at far and at near, monocularly (OD), which impedes his work as a carpenter. It explains the primary importance of assessing and analyzing the patient’s choice of words in describing what he is experiencing, as a part of taking a thorough case history. The results of a complete ocular examination are presented, including biomicroscopy and topographic maps. In addition, this course explains the choice of aspheric gas-permeable contact lenses in this case, and presents the treatment plan devised for this patient. |
