Meeting the Challenges of Presbyopic Contact Lens Correction |
| ABSTRACT:
Contact lens correction provides wearers with a multitude of advantages over other forms of visual correction. Compared to glasses, contact lenses can provide heightened visual performance, cosmetic enhancement and visual freedom. Contact lens correction offers less risk and a higher confidence of precise visual performance when stacked up against current refractive surgical procedures. This is particularly true for presbyopic patients who must wear reading glasses or adapt to amonovision approach to surgical correction. The availability of high quality multifocal contact lenses are well suited to meet the demands of the multidimensional, on the go presbyope of the new millennium. |
