| ABSTRACT:
This course addresses the challenges of fitting a presbyopic patient who is discerning about his vision. It discusses the characteristics of presbyopes’ vision requirements, including modified monovision, and the advantages and disadvantages of a number of other fittings. It also reviews several types of contact lenses and their role in fitting presbyopes such as the one presented here. The Case Report provides a comprehensive look at how best to serve the needs of an active individual whose best result is the near, intermediate and distance vision combination found in a modified monovision strategy. |
