| ABSTRACT:
This course reviews an unusual case of unilateral chlamydial conjunctivitis that was discovered to be caused by psittachosis. The author discusses the patient’s signs and symptoms and provides in-depth information regarding differential diagnosis relating to bacterial, viral and chlamydial forms of conjunctivitis. The author also describes the clinical signs and symptoms that distinguish chlamydial conjunctivitis. The course also reviews examinations appropriate to this type of case. A treatment plan is presented. |
