This course reviews sclerochoroidal calcification as a rare ocular condition frequently mistaken for other sometimes similar conditions. The author discusses the etiology of the condition; ocular signs and symptoms; associated systemic conditions; how to arrive at a differential diagnosis; and testing for the condition. The ocular manifestations and effects are reviewed. A Case Report is presented of an 81-year-old male who was discovered to have idiopathic sclerochoroidal calcification.
