This website was created because there was no centralized, easy-to-use listing of online optometrist CE courses anywhere on the 'net. Each individual CE provider has their own list of continuing education courses for specific categories: optometrists, opticians, ophthalmic assistants, nurses, etc. And the ability to search for specific topics varies widely by website. And, of course, there is no way to search for a specific topic, glaucoma for example, unless you visit each site individually. The COPE website does maintain a list of approved courses, but unfortunately, it lacks a method to see summaries of online courses in a meaningful manner and doesn't include cost information.
